Disaster strikes on Monday.
1) After lesson, I on my laptop as usual. it was able to start up as usual. But everything is loading slowly. when i click on "My Computer" it does not load at all. It shows the arrow with hour glass and disappears without popping out any window. I rebooted and it occured again. I waited almost 15 mins but nothing loaded. I was horrified, almost in a state of shock as I have an assignment to hand in by 10pm which i've already completed and also an assignment 1/2 done. I was really helpless, even if my lappy does not function properly, i hope to retrieve my assignment stuffs. I almost freaked out, i did not dare to reboot, afraid that it would not start after i reboot. But i decide to give it a shot and phew everything works normal. And i also realised that my lappy's batt is not working anymore. Totally gone cased.
2) Okay, after that scary incident i was unable to upload my assignment thru email which is normally done. in the end me and jp tried to use the ftp. it stated on the instructions that the client program is provided in one of the CDs but we could not find it. In the end we went to search for it at Google and dl-ed the trial version. jp was unable to connect and i was unable to find the server's folders. jp then called our teacher, but she wasn't at her desk then the call was transferred to the admin of TMC, and they asked jp to email our lecturer abt the prob. And after typing quite a long email, the email could not be sent over! It was really frustrating. Then jp went to call the TMC staff and they said we only could wait for help as they will try to contact our lecturer. Finally jp received a call from our lecturer and she said that perhaps the lecturer's email inbox over at monash is already full. She told us to burn the assignment out in CD and submit tmr.
I'm really freaked out by these 2 incidents. grrr. luckily both is solved. Not really sure for my lappy. It doesnt seem to be in a good condition. Haiz.. and finally, i finished 3 assignments. Left the last one which would be very tough.. damn. and exams is only 2 weeks later. so many stuffs in a month. all these will squeeze all my brain juices out! =(
